Lock in your spot
Choose a start date on my calendar and pay a deposit of $500 to hold your spot.
Onboarding and prep work
You get:

- Photo guide
- Copy guide
- Website style survey
Optional
Week 1
Purpose:
- Collaborate on website style direction
- Sign off on website structure
- Review your website goals and vision
- Go through your website inspiration and collaborate to come up with a style direction for your website…. (I’ll show you some options and ideas based on your prep work, and help you decide what will work best)
- Confirm your site structure… ie/ agree on which pages we’re including in your website project
I send out the contract at this point (rather than when you book) because it's based on the site structure & number of pages in the project.
Week 2
Purpose:
- Sign off on style direction for website
- I’ll present 2 homepage mockups - each with a distinct style
- You choose which you like best!
- I’ll help you decide if you’re not sure - don't worry - most of my clients find it very easy to decide between the 2 options.
Now that you've confirmed your style choices, you’re ready to proceed with the full design. I’ll send an invoice for ½ of the price of your design (minus your deposit).
If for some reason you get to this point and decide not to proceed with the project, this is where you can opt out. Your deposit covered the work up to this point, and you won't have any further payments.
Yay! You finally get to see your full website! This part of the process goes quickly… Most of my clients are surprised that they only have a few minor revision requests at this point. That’s the beauty of collaborating early in the design process.
Here's how it works:
- I’ll send you a preview link for your new website along with a video walkthrough to explain design choices and point out any special features
- You'll record a loom video to share your feedback and explain any revision requests you may have.
- I’ll make a checklist of all your requests and we’ll address each request over the next few days
Site Build
The full site build usually takes about 2 weeks. Don’t expect to hear from me during this phase… but know that I’m working away in the background and if I have any questions, I’ll reach out by email.
Weeks 3 - 6
I’ll send your invoice for final payment, and as soon as that’s received I’ll transfer your design into your Showit account
I’ll take care of the technical launch details (like connecting your url)... and when you’re ready, you can hit publish and celebrate your new website!!!

How long does the website design process take?
It takes from 6 weeks from your project start date to deliver your new website.
What if i need help after my new website launches?
Your website design includes 4 weeks of priority email support.
Will I be able to update my own website?
Yes! Most of my clients find Showit very intuitive to learn, and the support from Showit is amazing. And if you get stuck, send me an email and I'll help you out!
What platforms do you design on?
I design exclusively on the Showit platform. It offers the best mix of powerful SEO capabilities along with total design freedom.
How much input do I get in the design process?
My website design process is very collaborative. You get to provide input at several steps along the way.
Do I need custom photography?
I 100% recommend investing in professional brand photography. If you are upgrading to a professional website, then custom photography really elevates the quality of your website. I'll provide a list of the photos you'll need.
Do you write the website copy?
I provide copy outlines to guide you through the process of writing the copy you need. I also provide light copy edits to make sure the writing fits the design. If you would like help from a copywriter, I can recommend a pro!
Is SEO included?
Yes - I handle all of the basic SEO settings required to set your website up for success.
Will my website be optimized for mobile?
Yes! Your website will be mobile-optimized and look gorgeous on any device.
